The Seamstress
“Deadlines that are real. Craftsmanship that shows.”
My relationship with fabric started long before I ever set foot in a bridal shop. Growing up, I watched my grandmother turn scraps of cloth into something that felt like magic — and I've been chasing that feeling ever since. What started as a childhood curiosity became a lifelong craft, one I've now honed across thousands of garments and a decade of hands-on work.
My professional path led me through David's Bridal, where I refined my precision on high-stakes work — bridal alterations where there is absolutely no margin for error. That experience taught me how to move quickly without sacrificing quality, how to read a garment's structure, and how to work with brides under the particular kind of pressure that comes with a date on a calendar that doesn't move. When I went independent, I brought every lesson with me — and left behind everything that got in the way of truly serving my clients.
My StoryKind Words
“She took a dress I had given up on and made it the most beautiful thing I've ever worn. The fit was so perfect my mother cried at the fitting. I cannot recommend her enough.”

“I've been to other seamstresses before and the difference is night and day. Grace Mae actually listened to what I wanted, explained exactly what she was going to do, and delivered ahead of schedule. Worth every penny.”

“Brought in a vintage gown from the 1970s that I wanted to wear for my wedding. Most places turned me away. She took one look at it and said 'I can work with this.' She was right.”
